Aaron Verbrugge

Financial Advisor

Aaron has been in the financial services business since 2001 and created Affinity Financial Group in 2016.  He is a qualifying member (2012, 2017, and 2018) of The Million Dollar Round Table* (MDRT), which represents the top 5% of the financial services industry worldwide, and its members must adhere to a strict code of ethics.

Aaron graduated from Central Michigan University where he received his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.

Aaron and his wife Tami have two daughters, Riley and Evin, and currently reside in Hudsonville, Michigan.  They are members of Ada Bible Church and volunteer their time for various programs at church and several organizations in the community.  Aaron and Tami enjoy spending time in the Michigan outdoors and watching their daughters compete in swimming and water polo.

John DeMaar

Financial Services Professional

John is a third-generation Financial Services Professional. He’s continuing an 80-year legacy, which was started by his grandfather, Joe DeMaar, in 1937. John also has 15 years of past experience in the insurance industry.

John graduated from Michigan State University where he received his bachelor’s degree in Economics and was a four-year member of the Michigan State Rugby Team.

John and his wife Jamie have two children, Jackson and Quinn. They currently reside in Hudsonville, Michigan. John and Jamie are actively involved in the Hudsonville community. John is an Ambassador for the Hudsonville Chamber of Commerce. Jamie teaches 3rd grade at Jamestown Elementary. They are members of St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church. John volunteers his time at Mel Trotter Ministries, Family Network of Wyoming, and Junior Achievement. He enjoys fishing, boating, spending time with his family, and supporting the Grand Rapids Gazelles and Grand Rapids Catholic Central Rugby teams.
